In the 1980's thru the early 90's my mother, Corinne Hackett started at the rescue squad with some of the easy members. She was already an EMT so she was greeted with open arms even though we lived in North Beach. When Warren Parks was Chief there was an accident involving ambulance 48 on an early Sunday morning someone side swiped the ambulance. My mom would not go to the emergency room to have herself checked out until every one of her crew members was checked out and coming out of the wrecked ambulance. There was a picture taken of all the members that was in the accident in front of the wrecked vehicle. Of course mom was in the middle hamming it up. Anyway I just wanted to let anyone there who may have been around the time of my mother being at Co.4 that she passed away at Anne Arundel Medical Center on April 5, 2017. She was 80 yrs old.

I just want to say how proud I was to be invited to your Annual Awards Banquet on August 4th. My husband and I had a wonderful time. I have never met such wonderful people. I am so proud to be able to help with your fundraising by doing the Quarter Auctions. I am honored to be a friends with each and every one of you.

Reply to Bobby's (Parrott) funeral service and etc., the Prince Frederick Co. 4 Rescue Squad along with the Co. 2 Fire Department and the Calvert County Sheriff's Office, all did an excellent representation for a fallen member. Was so moved by these gallant and humble folks, especially Co. 4 May God Bless them All! I challenge all to contribute a donation in Memory of Bobby Parrott, to one of these fine organizations!

I want to thank Belinda Bryant for her kind and courteous manner in providing the hall for the PFE Cheer Banquet last night. I know we had a lot of people and stuff every where, but Belinda made sure we maintained a safe environment! We had a blast and I appreciate the last minute reservation. On Saturday, October 9, 2010 my son Devontai was playing football at Hallowing Point Park when he was injured plus having trouble breathing due to his asthma. There was a young man with the name M. Smith on the back of his jacket plus his crew responded to the scene. As a Firefighter and EMT all my skills that I had learned went right out the door cause for the first time it was my own that I had to see in distress and I was very unprepared for the situation. Mr. Smith was very calmed and very patient with him. My son said to me once we were at the hospital Mom can we leave that young man a tip for taking care of me. He said Mom I felt very comfortable with him in the back of the ambulance he said Mom it was like having you there with me. Me and my Husband are both Firefighters at Bay District (Lexington Park, MD) and would like to thank him and the crew for a wonderful job of helping us through this emergency. So on behalf of myself and the Pax River Raiders we would like to thank everyone for their help. Keep up the wonderful work and we are bless there is still wonderful volunteers out there that cared.
